Yes, Dr. Demetra is contracted and in-network with most major insurance carriers (Aetna, Amerigroup, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, ComPsych, EverNorth, Magellan, Multiplan, Optum, UMR, United Healthcare, HMSA, AlohaCare. Most major insurances we accept provide coverage for mental health services including medication management and psychotherapy. Insurance coverage will be verified prior to your initial appointment.
You have several options. You can call our office during regular business hours - leave a voice message with a callback number. You can also directly schedule an appointment online at our booking portal here. New patients will need to register for an account prior to scheduling an appointment.
Initial evaluations are 50-60 minutes. Therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes. Medication management follow-up appointments are 20-30 minutes.
Follow-up appointments depends on your condition and progress. Once a patient stabilizes on a particular course of treatment, it is common to see them every 1-3 months. Appointments may be more frequent in the first several months as this is when a new treatment plan needs to be closely monitored so that it can be adjusted as needed and properly tailored to your response.

If you have received psychiatric treatment in the past, if you choose, you may provide copies of previous evaluations from former providers. If the patient is under 18, they must be accompanied during the appointment by a parent or guardian for in-person appointments.

We accept payment via the patient portal using the payment link for credit/debit cards.
Consistent attendance at scheduled sessions/appointments is vital to successful mental health care. If you cannot attend an appointment, please let us know at least two (2) business days in advance to reschedule. For appointments that are missed entirely or cancelled within 48 hours, there is a non-refundable $175 no-show/late cancellation fee.

We provide outpatient telemedicine and in-person appointments and do not provide emergency services. For Emergencies call 911 or go to your local Emergency Department.
Refills are typically electronically prescribed and sent to your preferred pharmacy during your medication management session. If you need a refill outside your scheduled appointment, please contact the office and leave a voice message or you may message Dr. Demetra via your patient portal for a refill. It may take up to 48 hours to complete refill medication requests. Some medications may require more regular appointments and/or in-person visits.
